Boards are common crafting materials that, when combined with Nails, can be used to barricade doors and windows, as well as repairing doorways, fences and wardrobes. It is also used for upgrading the Workbench.

It can commonly be found in piles of wood logs that spawn randomly in the wilds of Darkwood or by cutting Wood Logs in the gasoline-powered Table Saw. Boards can also be bought from The Trader for 6 Reputation each.

The weak weapon Board With Nails is also made out of Boards.

Trivia

• The Board was known as Plank in earlier versions of the game. Even before that, when Wood Logs were not yet added, Boards were known as Wood.
