The Dial-eyed Man is a minor Character in Darkwood seen during the Prologue.
As the protagonist returns to the room containing a radio after retrieving the Gasoline can from the room next to it, he will see a man with dials instead of eyes lying on the ground in place of the radio. The man, who appears to be connected to several power cables, slowly repeats a number. This number is the combination to the northernmost room's door, where a man, possibly Janek, is confined.
Trivia[]
- If the protagonist returns to the Dial-eyed Man after wandering a bit across the room with the cages, he will instead find an ordinary radio again. This is one of many situations in Darkwood suggesting that the protagonist's senses may not be reliable, especially immediately following the consumption of essence.
